Come to the City...

Friday: Played a semi-acoustic concert at Paper Planes Festival, which went rather well :-). And managed to hang out, drink a few beers AND watch Boho Dancer and From Sarah, before we had to get going with the gear.

Saturday: Party at home, then party at Kødboderne18.

Today: Relaxing and listening to this song by The War on Drugs:

And in a couple of hours: Primal Scream, yay!

The Hoax...

Friday! Relaxing! Link

And Jacob Faurholt sent this, it's such a beautiful song:

Surfing the net, too. Found a pretty cool Beat Happening cover by Yellow Ostrich over at Friends With Both Arms, where I also found a link to this thing called Shaking Through. There I found Port St. Willow, and I strongly suggest that you check that out, folky indie in a very good way (and check out the cool drums on "Stay Even")! Oh, and the Beat Happening-thing made me think of the cover that we once did (and holy moly the "Teenage Lust"-cover has got rather a lot of views!). Now, a beer and the book about medieval Europe.

For fuck's sake...

The Great Book of John stole my idea. Or rather, they didn't, but I've wanted to do a cover of this one for ages, we just never got around to it back in the ONBC days. So I thought that we'd do one at some point in Boombox, but no, it's all ruined now :-). And by that I mean that this is a REALLY, REALLY cool cover version!:

Found over at Organgrinder.

A lovely song for a lovely Saturday...

Nice evening yesterday. Blomsten, then Vega to see Kaspar Kaae / Chad VanGaalen, and then a few drinks at Brass Monkey.

And now, just relaxing, reading the Book of Revelation and listening to this:

How Come You Never Go There by Feist

Bloodflow...

Bill Callahan, Vega, November 16th, yay!

Oh and a compilation celebrating the first five years of SOPA (Sound Of Perpetual Astonishment). It's pretty cool (Marzipan Marzipan, Agata & Me, Girls Love Rallie and others) and it's right here.

Bakers at dawn!

9 songs released in the period 14th-26th of July. Here's the last one:

And while you're at it, listen to the older stuff, too, it's sooooo cool (and seriously, it's so cool that he's my all-time number two on last.fm :-)):
