Yes, preparing video, a couple of concerts and listening to cool stuff. Like "Corvalis" by DIVE (via Phoenix & Fireworks). And Of The Wand & The Moon (the bass!), which I've wanted to write about for a while (but you know how you forget things, right?):

It's choosing a mattress that's keeping me going...

Spotify, gotta love it! Since installing it this morning I've been listening to Neil Young, Mojave 3 and Arab Strap. And making this playlist.

But the weekend's been cool too, rehearsing, rehearsing some more and going to Stengade with the tempo-boys and Stytzer. And recording a mofo sad song called "C.P.H.L.", which will be the first song on the album. And today I've just been cleaning up the mess I call home.

Back again...

Yup. Checking mails and relaxing before rehearsing, recording and writing this weekend.

It's real...

It's a cool thing playing live, when a foreign girl says "Hey dude, awesome concert", when you're on your way home. And yes, we had a wonderful time yesterday, when we played at Rust with Orange Monks and The Shallow Man.
It's slightly less cool playing live, when you have to work the following day, damn, I've been knackered :-). But tomorrow, I'm off to the South of Jutland, 3 hours on the train, while listening to sweet songs like this (the view out the window won't be anything like it, though):

Woke up early this morning, fit as a fiddle. So spent the day studying and listening to this very, very cool album:



Lo-fi, experimental pop, a bit of new wave and a tad psychedelic, too. Naturally, I love it (found via Get Off The Coast)!

And had a very nice evening yesterday, where Kathrine and I went to this thing arranged by Trinitatis Natkirke as a way of saying "thank you" to the artists, who've played there this year. Dinner, beer, wine, a goodie bag, a few small concerts and hanging out with bands such as Antennas to Nowhere and So Like Dorian, lovely indeed. So today I've just been relaxing, drinking coffee, eating Toffifee and reading Lone Hørslev's "Sorg og Camping". It's a bit too "female" (the language, that is) to me, but the description of small town Denmark in the 80ies is both accurate and funny, so very much recommended!

Been listening to the free stream of Feist's "Metals" (you should too, btw!). And this one called "Oh Fortune" by Dan Mangan (you should too, btw again!).

Spent yesterday evening drinking beer and rum and playing 8 cover songs with the school's band. Among'em this one:
